Omaha, N.E. | Servpro® of Omaha Southwest & No Town Left Behind
Areas in Nebraska were severely affected by the flurry of weather this spring. With the seasonal melt from winter followed by a bomb cyclone in March, areas in Nebraska and Iowa experienced severe flooding, causing substantial losses. 104 cities and 81 counties in the state of Nebraska have federally declared an emergency. The “bomb cyclone” that swept through the Midwest late in March has caused more than $1 billion of flood damage in Nebraska, the state’s governor said.
No Town Left Behind and local Servpro® of Omaha Southwest, reached out and expressed an interest in providing some donated product to help relief efforts. Both Servpro® and Benefect donated product to ensure that citizens affected by these tragic flooding situations can have some help with the clean-up and recovery.
